The doors are open!

Holy cow, guys! My online storefront is live! Happy dance!

Late in the game I decided to launch my line of print products in time for Small Business Saturday.

Early in the year, my plan was to initially focus my photography business on selling fine art prints and photo products. Then I got jazzed about personal brand photography and shifted my attention a bit. But, because I love layout and design, for fun, between more serious tasks, I did set up one calendar template. A 5”x7” desktop calendar featuring my Cherry Blossom pics. I just didn’t do anything serious about figuring out how to produce or sell them.

So naturally, in early November I decided I should use Small Business Saturday to start selling. Nothing like a little mad dash. Definitely got me scrambling. Had samples printed and probably more quickly than I should have, set up an online storefront through my website.

And I launched it on Black Friday. So, I was up and running in time for folks to #shopsmall. I even made my first sale! In fact, I made three of them! Woohoo!! I’m in business!

I pulled it off by starting small—I only had four pre-designed products when I went live. Two note card sets and two calendars. My larger selection of fine art photos that can be purchased as prints or canvas wall art has been up and running for a few months, but the note card and calendar products are new.

In the next week I’ll be adding two additional note card sets  and I can always customize any of my products with pretty much any photo in my collection. So, if you don’t see what you’re looking for, give me a shout and I’ll create something unique for you!

Happy shopping!
